Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co- chairperson of CT Group and Mrs. Tanika Channi graced the occasion. They were ushered a warm and genial welcome with a shower of petals and were presented cards. The entrance was decorated with beautiful cards made by the tiny tots expressing their love and gratitude to their grandparents. They were welcomed to the school with handmade tulips. A group song and a thanks giving speech were presented of grandparents in the importance of grandparents in the lives of the little ones. A puppet show depicting a comparison of Grandparents with trees stole the show. Just as a tree sustains life, similarly grandparents nurture and help the younger lineage to blossom by bestowing love and care on them. A myriad of games and activities were conducted for the grandparents t make their day a memorable one and to enable them to take a dip in their yester years and to enjoy the essence of youth. CT KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATES EARTH DAY

The tiny tots of CT Kindergarten celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April’13. The children were enlightened about the importance of mother earth and their responsibility towards her. They were told about the deteriorating condition of the environment and the need of the hour was to awaken the society to protect and save the earth through a story. A smart quiz was conducted on the occasion to enlighten the children about the sick planet and our role in protecting and securing it. The children gave their palm impressions on a painting of the Earth to depict to the world their solemn promise to save the Mother Earth. The colours used by them were mostly green, blue and brown (yellow) as they are the prominent colours of the earth. The whole Kindergarten took PLEDGE on this day. The students were distributed the GREEN RIBBONS on their shirts to spread the message SAVE ENVIRONMENT. The Principal of the school Mrs. Ranjana Rajput was greatly impressed by the kind and loving gesture of the little owes towards their planet and also expressed her concerns about the degrading state of the environment. She also added that the society should learn from the new generation and unless a serious step is not taken towards the protection of the environment, very little can be done to save our earth.
